The diploma thesis formally consists of a mosaic of outputs across the media. It contains a set of videos, a set of embroidered pieces of clothing and a set of hand-drawn, subjective maps, all supplemented and accompanied by drawings, watercolors, texts, objects and audio. Thematically, the work has two layers. First, it deals with the reflection of (my) selected hobbies that relate to specific ideas about nature and landscape. These hobbies are divided into three thematic areas named Emo Maps, The Cowboy Spectrum, and Bio Tops. In the second layer, the work is a critical reflection on the use of hobby strategies in art work, as one of the last available ways to create in times of permanent crises.

The topic of bachelor thesis is „Marketing mix of a company“. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. First chapter includes theory. The second chapter processes current situation in the company using marketing analyses. Third chapter shows my suggestions for improvement, which are created from the acquired information from previous chapters. These are suggestions for a changes of marketing mix.
The Folk Costumes

The outcome of my thesis is airy relief in the form of a spreaded Kyjov´s women's folk costumes. It is made up of embroidery and lace, which gets their original lightness without underlying substance.The white color, I have used, strenghts this feeling. All parts are printed by the ABS plastic. I follow the transformation of hand-made embroidery on the machine-made one with this. 3D printing is another entirely fictitious step for me. Just as the embroidery machine adjusts stitches according to their outline, as well as 3D printer has its own structure of applying material.
Design of Semiprofessional Sewing Machine

The master thesis is focused on design of semi-professional sewing machine regarding tailor’s needs. The goal of this master thesis is to bring a new ergonomic solution with attractive styling. The sewing machine would be connected with table as one unit.
Embroidery and activism in contemporary art

In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals mainly with the traditional feminine handicraft technique of embroidery in the context of activism in contemporary art. It categorizes embroidery into high art such as painting or sculpture. It tries to study embroidery from several levels. It compares the historical development of this textile medium with embroidery in contemporary art and seeks their changes. Thesis deals with the common relationship between this art technique and the development of activism. Activism clarifies and places in historical, sociocultural and other contexts. It mentions exhibitions and artists dealing with embroidery and activism inland, but this work also concerns foreign works. Analyzes the concept of craftivism. It examines how and how often textile materials and handicraft techniques are implemented in art classes. The acquired knowledge will be applied in the didactic part. The practical part deals with craftivism, which came to the fore in the 21st century. The craftivism art group seeks to link contemporary embroidery techniques with activism. Bohemian Embroideries from the period of the House of Luxembourg

Ivana Čihánková České výšivky z doby vlády Lucemburků Bakalářská práce Abstract The title of the dissertation: Bohemian Embroideries from the Period of the House of Luxembourg In the second half of the 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century Bohemian embroidery was on a very high level, embroideries made in the Bohemian workshops were ordered by kings, noble families, church dignitaries and burghers for the churches and cathedrals on the whole territory under the rule of the House of Luxembourg. The aim of the offered bachelor dissertation is to describe the period and environment in which the embroideries were created, techniques and materials then used and connections of the embroideries with the other branches of art in the period. The first part of the dissertation deals with significance and use of embroidery under the Luxembourg rule and presents nowadays known information about embroiderers and embroidery techniques. The other part contains the descriptions of seventeen embroideries which preserved in this country and abroad, analysis of their iconography and historical links with other works of art, especially with panel painting and manuscript illuminations.
